Our guest suite, designed for one or two adults, offers an inviting stay in a lovely garden setting just a block from Main Street. The location provides guests easy access to the town's shops, restaurants, activities, and events as well as to experiences in the surrounding area. The bay window in the suite and the swing and garden benches give guests spaces from which to enjoy the garden and view some of the species of birds attracted to the setting. In addition to enjoying the suite's setting, guests may want to visit the historic nineteenth century Episcopal Church across from the garden. After spending time on Main Street, guests can explore the town further by following the self-guided walks provided.
The suite includes sitting, dining, and sleeping areas, a galley kitchen, and a bath. Coffees, cream, teas, and sweeteners are provided. All linens are included. Guests have Wifi access and cable television. Also, central heating and air conditioning are included for guests' comfort. In addition, we are always available.
Charles Street Garden is a certified National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat. Guests are invited to wander through all of the garden spaces that surround our home, including in the space beyond the end of the fence in the upper garden. They will discover a wonderful range of plants. If staying during the winter months, they will find that much of the garden continues to be inviting because of the abundance of evergreen plants. Guests will also find opportunities to observe a variety of birds and other animals, evidence in the garden setting of why our place has been designated a National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat.
